Vernon Hills, Illinois — Tool manufacturer YG-1 stated that the new i-ONE system consists of replaceable micrograin carbide drill blades and high-quality tool steel handles with coolant channels, based on coatings The advancement and optimization of the design can increase tool life and conversion speed.

"Our new i-ONE series offers the advantages of solid carbide drills and the flexibility of steel bodies," said Steve Pilger, product manager for hole processing. "I-ONE micro-grain carbide inserts combine a new multi-layer H coating and optimized cutting angles, as well as a tool steel holder with Torx Plus clamping stability.

"With these and other advanced features, i-ONE drills have a longer lifespan than competitors' products. When you finally need to replace the blade, we designed the i-ONE interface to achieve foolproof and hassle-free blade replacement."

The nickel-plated tool steel bracket of this system has the following characteristics:

i-ONE drill bits are available in various blade sizes. Tool steel handles are available in 3xD, 5xD and 8xD depths, with outer diameters ranging from 0.393 inches to 1.328 inches, and Ø10 mm to Ø33.73 mm.
