Ghani Chemical increases G3 Technologies' shareholding to 15.93%

Karachi: Ghani Chemical Industries Limited (GCIL) has purchased 22.8 million shares of G3 Technologies (formerly Service Fabrics), increasing its stake in affiliated companies to 15.93%.

Ghani Global Holding Limited submitted documents to the exchange on Friday that Ghani Chemical Industries Limited (GCIL) has invested Rs 2.28 crore in G3 Technologies Limited (GTECH).

“GCIL is one of the subsidiaries of Ghani Global Holding and the largest manufacturer of medical and industrial gases in Pakistan. It has invested Rs 2.28 crore in G3 Technologies Limited (GTECH/formerly Service Fabrics Limited) as an affiliated company with a total investment of 22.8 million. The rupee purchase document stated that the shares will be sold through the NDM market on December 2, 2021 at a price of 10 rupees per share.

GCIL's total investment in GTECH is now 39.8 million shares, which is 15.93% of GTECH's total paid-in capital.

It is worth mentioning that G3 Technology recently announced plans to invest in the construction of two manufacturing plants, one is a supercapacitor green energy storage device, and the other is a calcium carbide plant.
